General Overview

Stem cell therapy represents one of the most exciting areas of modern medicine. The more we learn about stem cells and their ability to differentiate into various forms of tissue, the more we understand how effective well-designed therapies can be for treating a variety of injuries and diseases. The Advanced Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI) intends to remain at the forefront of stem cell therapy and training for the foreseeable future.

We are currently training clinicians in multiple disciplines on the use of stem cells and allograft tissues, including cord blood and amniotic tissue, to treat musculoskeletal issues like osteoarthritis and sports injuries. These treatments are also being applied in areas of wound care and aesthetics. We are teaching doctors how to help patients achieve significant pain relief through evidence-based treatments that get to the source of the problem rather than dealing only with symptoms.

Our training is conducted by full-time, board-certified physicians who provide a scientific foundation in support of clinical evidence showing the efficacy of stem cell therapy for orthopedic and anesthetic applications. Training includes hands-on experiences that make doctors as familiar as possible with stem cell procedures before returning home to introduce stem cell therapy to their patients.

Training with the Best in the Business

It goes without saying that the level and quality of training a doctor receives greatly influences how he or she performs in clinical practice. We encourage any clinician looking into offering regenerative medicine procedures to seriously consider training with ARMI. Training with us means training with the best regenerative medicine doctors in the business.

ARMI trainees learn through scientifically-based lectures given by highly respected professionals who know what they are talking about. The lectures cover a broad spectrum of topics relating to the science and practice of stem cell therapy as well as the practical business of offering it in a clinical setting. Lectures also include the latest information covering everything from standards of care to FDA regulations.

Hands-on training experiences are the ‘icing on the cake’ so to speak. We don’t just talk to doctors about how stem cell therapy works; we demonstrate in hands-on sessions that fully prepare them to practice the same techniques in their own clinics.

Join Us for Our Next Session

ARMI hosts training seminars in various locations around the country. Our goal is to educate clinicians interested in stem cell therapy and other regenerative medicine techniques as a way of offering options to their patients. We do what we do because we fully believe in the effectiveness of these innovative therapies.

In addition to procedural and technical training, we also offer instruction in building and maintaining a practice in which regenerative medicine techniques are utilized. This training includes things such as marketing, building and maintaining websites, and so forth.

To date, hundreds of doctors and clinic staff members have trained with ARMI. We want you to be part of our next session. If you are interested in learning more, please do not hesitate to contact us.

General Overview

Use PRP to Treat a Variety of Orthopedic Issues

The growth of stem cell and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapies as treatments for orthopedic issues has been impressive in recent years. You can be part of this emerging medical practice by taking one of our orthopedics training courses.

Our course will teach you the basic principles of how PRP and stem cell injections can help in treating injuries to tendons, ligaments, joints, and muscles. You will also learn proven techniques for drawing blood, processing it in a specialized centrifuge, and injecting the resulting material into the site of injury or disease.

Musculoskeletal Issues

We teach doctors to utilize both PRP and stem cells to help repair damaged musculoskeletal tissue. Injections can reduce inflammation and trigger the body’s natural healing response in order to relieve pain and promote tissue regeneration. PRP and stem cell injections are useful for:

  • osteoarthritis
  • sports injuries
  • household and workplace injuries

PRP therapy is widely publicized as a treatment for osteoarthritis. As PRP injections contain up to 10 times more platelets than standard blood, it is believed that the injected material both signals the body to reduce inflammation and begin replacing lost or damaged cartilage. PRP injections are also known to relieve the pain of osteoarthritis, reduce stiffness, and increase mobility.

Your patients have likely heard of both stem cell and PRP therapies by now. Many of them want access to the therapies as an alternative option to invasive surgery and potentially addictive pain medications. Note that both, stem cell and PRP, are considered minimally invasive because needles are used for extraction and injection. Despite the use of needles, the procedures are significantly less risky when compared with surgery. The risks of both rejection and infection are near zero.

How the Procedure Works:
  • Our orthopedics training courses provide everything you need to learn PRP and stem cell procedures. Training includes hands-on demonstrations that give students every opportunity to practice the techniques before returning home to begin offering treatments to patients.

A typical procedure begins with a standard blood draw or fat tissue extraction. The extracted material is processed in a centrifuge, which separates out unwanted material. Finally, the resulting material is injected into the site of injury in very specific locations.

Whether you are looking to expand your practice, or you are just interested in giving your patients an alternative to surgery and pain medications, our orthopedics training courses are what you’re looking for. Contact us today to learn how to sign up for the next available session.

General Overview

Medical science has long known that platelet-rich plasma (PRP) contains a plethora of nutrients and growth factors vital to numerous body functions. Indeed, PRP injections have been used to promote post-surgery wound healing for decades. In recent years we have begun to understand that those same injections can be very useful in musculoskeletal and aesthetic applications as well. That’s what our PRP therapy training is all about.

The Advanced Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI) is proud to offer cutting-edge PRP therapy training to aesthetic physicians, sports medicine doctors, internists, primary care doctors, and physicians practicing in a variety of other disciplines. We are also proud to say that our industry-leading training has played a significant role in the emergence of regenerative medicine as an alternative to more traditional treatment options.

Today, doctors who have trained with ARMI are offering PRP therapy as an alternative to invasive surgery and long-term pain medication use. Aesthetic physicians are introducing PRP therapy to patients looking to deal with the effects of aging and/or age-related hair loss. The doctors we have already trained are enthusiastic about PRP therapy because it is a safe, minimally invasive treatment for chronic pain, wounds, and aesthetic abnormalities.

Training with the Best in the Business

If you are a clinician interested in learning more about PRP therapy training, rest assured that the courses we offer are fully comprehensive. We don’t simply put you through a 30-minute slideshow before sending you on your way. Rather, you will learn from lectures given by full-time, board-certified physicians with years of knowledge and experience under their belts.

You will follow-up the lectures with hands-on training that allows you to practice some of the techniques discussed during the lectures. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and refine your skills. And once training is complete, you will head home armed with a volume of resources that you can use for ongoing reference as you seek to introduce PRP therapy to your patients.

We Train Doctors To
  • Harvest PRP Material – The PRP material used in our procedures is autologous material. As such, we train doctors in the most effective techniques for harvesting the blood that will be used for treatment.
  • Process Harvested Material – Once the blood has been drawn from the patient, the resulting material must be processed in a specialized centrifuge that isolates plasma and blood platelets. We train doctors in the proper way to use centrifuge equipment.
  • Perform PRP Injections – Finally, doctors are trained in how to properly inject PRP material for the most effective results. This is critically important, as only proper technique will result in maximum efficacy.

Our training concludes with sessions talking about the business side of regenerative medicine. In other words, we teach doctors and clinic representatives how to market PRP therapy. We teach them how to build a profitable practice and then maintain that practice moving forward.

Our next PRP therapy training course is already on the schedule. If you have had any thoughts about introducing PRP therapy to your practice, now is the time to take advantage of training from ARMI. You’ll learn everything you need to know to successfully offer PRP therapy and other regenerative medicine procedures.
